Christie Laplant, Mexico Specialist at James Travelpoints recentley did a site inspecation at Dreams Cancun, in Mexico.

A member of prefered Hotels & Resorts, Dreams Cancun combines traditional Mayan with Contemporary Mexican architecture. Dreams is located right in the heart of Cancun surrounded on three sides by the Caribbean. There is small beach on one side, and a bay area on the other side where there are hardly any waves .It is conveniently located within walking distance to shopping malls, clubs and restaurants .

Dreams Cancun has two buildings : the older building which is called the pyramide and the newer club tower building . The club tower building is located  in a quiet area by the bay and offers extra ammenities such as concierge service, a private pool and teatime treats in the afternoon.  If you want a  more deluxe room with balconies facing the sea and extra amentities, I would suggest staying in the Club Tower . It is worth the additional cost.

Dreams Cancun is great if you like to enjoy a nice quiet relaxing vacation . When you enter the hotel it surrounds you with a very relaxing calming athmosphere ; quit  the opposite of all he hustle and bustle thats going on steps away.  It’s a perfect spot for those who enjoy relaxing on a beautiful beach during the day and partying late into the night.      

The food is amazing . Dining options include Asian and International specialties as well as fresh fish served seaside and a beach terrace grill. . No reservations needed . If the restaurant is full they will give you a beeper, so you can enjoy a drink at the bar while you are waiting for your table. Also no wristbands!!

Even dolpins have there own aquarium at Dreams Cancun .Guest can enjoy swimming with these beatiful mammals for an extra cost, how easy is that?  And how fun to be walking outside your room in the morning to be greeted by dolphins!!

Dreams Cancun offers fun activities for all ages. It has everything, from a great kids club  with trampoline to a luxury spa and fitness center.  Movies on the beach, nightly live entertainment or a romantic beachside dinner are just some of the activities you can experience during your stay at Dreams   

Dreams is great hotel for families who are looking for a more upscale hotel as well as a perfect resort for couples or two friends going on vacation.
